The UF College of Dentistry Dental Clinical Research Unit (DCRU) provides valuable resources to faculty and students wanting to conduct clinical research. The facility is well-equipped to host clinical studies and complex clinical trials. The DCRU is available for vitro and in vitro research, susceptibility studies, test diagnostic method procedures and developing new health care products. In addition to clinical facilities, the DCRU has professional clinical research coordinators that are experienced in study implementation and compliance requirements.

Our staff are liaisons with the Health Science Center’s Research and Compliance Office and can facilitate the completion of study documentation. The staff can provide assistance to both faculty and students. DCRU facilitates clinical research in all areas of oral care, as well as collaborative research in many other health care clinical sciences, and is affiliated with the UF Clinical Translational Science Institute.

Contact the office to: discuss future research, share current research activities, learn about potential study participation, and any other questions.
